Founded in the region of Targu Mures, Transylvania – a place with a long heritage of handcrafted, artisan leather goods, Cinque Amici was born from an effort to continue the tradition, innovate the craft and preserve the knowledge of our ancestors. By passing down rich techniques and dexterity through generations, founders Szili and Reka put their academic professions aside to pursue their passion for creating quality leather goods. With the intention of bringing their own heritage and stories to life, their motivation is not only to talk about a product, but also the people who create it, their stories, and their craft. 

The name founded on the grounds of love, appreciation, and tribute, Cinque Amici was created to bring together the 5 aspects of design that no glove can be made without: the designer, tanner, tailor, decorator, and seamstress. All equally essential to the brand, Amici has a meaning of relation, friendship, and love – love for others and for their craft.
